Brush Shredding

We provide farmers a fast, efficient, and cost effective way to get rid of the brush left behind in their field after pruning. Rather than push brush and damage irrigation systems, trees, and have to burn, we can typically get your brush shred in the field for $20-$35/acre (depending on brush density & stacking job) with no hassle. Plus, shredding improves soil health by adding organic matter, increases phosphorous and nitrate levels, reduces ring and lesion nematodes in the soil and also increases bacterial & fungal feeding nematodes. It looks good too!

We provide a follower to pick up any brush left behind the shredder leaving your orchard floor 99.9% clean. Our screen and hammers are also regularly checked to assure we are shredding the finest product possible.

Our machine averages 10-20 acres per hour in almonds, walnuts and pistachios stacked every other row light to medium pruning density and 6 to 8 acres per hour in fruit orchards dependening on pruning density and the number of trees per acre.

Special rates apply for orchards over 150 acres.

Please view our Brush Stacking Guidelines before getting started in your field.
